About Good Samaritan Faith Based Rehabilitation
Good Samaritan Rehabilitation is a non-profit organization located in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho that is dedicated to helping men and women free themselves from lives of addiction, hopelessness, and despair through the freedom in Jesus Christ. As a faith based rehabilitation program, the focus is not just on treating the symptoms (the addiction,) but on the study of Christ to truly address the causes for the addiction. Clients spend nearly every waking moment during the learning about who Jesus Christ is, why he died for our sins, and how we claim victory through knowing him as Father and Savior.
How the world treats addiction simply does not work. The statistics prove this point, and the truth of the matter is that traditional treatment and treating drug addiction with other drugs does nothing to address the real reason for the abuse and addiction in the first place.
Everyone with Good Samaritan has a heart for the lost, the hopeless, and the broken. Most all of our staff have come from the same backgrounds of addiction, and have achieved freedom through the love and power of God. We know that this gives us a huge advantage, because we aren’t simply telling someone how to live their lives and free themselves from addiction by teaching from a clinical textbook. We’ve all been where you or your loved one is at, and we understand. God’s word says that “you can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens you.” (Phillipians 4:13)
